Are you caring for a loved one?

Feeling exhausted?

We’re here for you.

Courage to Caregivers believes that when you take better care of yourself, you provide better care to those you love. We’re a nonprofit based in Northeast Ohio, now serving caregivers nationwide. We provide tools and encouragement to empower caregivers. Offered in a validating, nonjudgmental environment, our programs help you develop the inner strength to care for yourself so that you can better care for your loved ones. We’re in the caregiver burnout prevention business.

Education

Gain self-care techniques and tools to help you better cope with and manage the stress of caregiving as well as build your resilience.

Support

Find what’s best for you. We offer two unique programs: One-to-One Caregiver Support, professionally-led Group Coaching (Support Groups) ~ each specifically targeted to the needs of caregivers. All virtual at this time.

Empowerment

Use the new skills you’ve learned to take care of your overall health and well-being so that you can advocate for and support your loved one.

One-to-One Caregiver Support

We offer two programs to connect caregivers with either a trained volunteer or a Certified Family Peer Support Specialist who has experience caring for someone living with a mental illness. These programs provide caregivers with support and resources to navigate the journey of caregiving.

Group Coaching (Support Groups)

The goals for our group coaching (support groups) include reinforcing a variety of skills that seek to build resilience and empower the mental illness caregiver as well as establish a caring community.
